Making the world a louder place!
Welcome!
Demo songs (cover versions)
We did some recording at a rehearsal, so here you have have a bunch of covers to give to venue owners for gigs. Obviously, we cut out all the "MARK! TURN IT DOWN!" and "PJ! PAY ATTENTION!" and "JOHN! STOP MUMBLING!" and all the other banter that goes on at rehearsals - but anyway this is pretty much us as we sound at rehearsal :
Well hello. There will be more content on here, but at the moment, feel free to download the Stircrazy CD!
To save on space, and, lets be honest, provide an incentive for you to actually buy the CD, these are compressed and are a low bit-rate (96kbs) MP3. The actual CD is much higher quality, and - listening to some of the tracks - it appears that some digital "artifacts" have manifested themselves in the conversion (on one song in particular the vocals are almost drowned out by the vocal's reverb - which is very odd). Still - I hope you enjoy them.
- Blame Culture - Written 6 months before Wickerman by Iron Maiden! Honest!
- Down Town - no, not that downtown.
- Fool for now - as ballady as Stircrazy get
- Good time - about having a good time!
- Hero - apparantly what every girl needs
- Hyperactive - written about Mark when full of sugar
- I'm the one - Bluesy
- Love in the dark - Quite - Loud - Quite - Loud - End.
- Rock me - Cover written by Tesla. Yes, we have paid for the rights to record and publish this
- Skin Deep - Originally called the 7/8 song before it was whipped into 4/4
- Your new lover - no solo - Mark couldn't find the key! PJ found the key after recording and is now a guitar fest when live!
